Only mother love is true love .It's gives everybody everything in all his life ,When you are still a baby ,mother takes good care of you as much as possible.In your waking hour she always holds you in her arms.When you are ill,she stop her work right now to look after you day and night and forgets about herself.When you are growing up day by day,she feels very happy.When you are old enough to go to school,mother still looks after you all the time.On cold winter days,she always tells you to put on more clothes.She always stands in the window waiting for you back from school.When you are hurry to leave home for school for breakfast ,she feels worried about you at home.She usually knows about your study and spends much money on your school things .When you do well at school .you will see the brightset smile on her face.
Mother is ailways ready to give everything she has to her children ,not to receive.
What true love that is in the world !We will remember Mother love forever .
Every one of us,rich or poor,should at least have one or two good friends.My friends will listen to me when I want to speak,will wipe my eyes when I cry,will take care of me when I am sick,and my friends will go together with me side by side through this journey of life.
As students,we could share more time with our friends.The friendship in our young hearts is pure,fresh and simple.I often feel very lucky to have a lot of good friends.Especially when I had Justin as one of my best friends.Justin was my English teacher from the USA.I met him in 1996 when I was a student who could only speak very little English.Justin was a vivid young man with a bright smile on his face,and he always had his special way to make the class active and attractive.He taught us English by telling stories,playing games,singing songs,and even dancing.I could still remember very clearly that one afternoon when we fin-ished our class,we went to some other classes to sing songs for them,just like what people do in the states on Christmas Eve.It was so interesting and unforgettable.Justin was an excellent teacher,because he taught us not only how to study English well,but also the way to find out the beauty of the world and the way to be angels to others' lives.I know there was friendship and pure love in our hearts.Facing this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important,the real importance lay in faith,under-standing,and care.Justin is the best friend I have ever had,and I know I will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory.
Friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives.It is actually like a bottle of wine,the longer it is kept,the sweeter it will be.It is also like a cup of tea.When we are thirsty,it will be our best choice,but when we have enough time to enjoy ourselves,it is also the most fragrant drink.

中秋之这一天，天上的圆月分外明亮，特别的大特别的圆，所以这一天被看作是团圆的大好日子，也被人们喻为最有人情味、最诗情画意的一个节日。有人说，每逢佳节倍思亲。中秋节这一份思念当然会更深切，尤其是一轮明月高高挂的时刻，不要忘了，让真情贺卡给远方的亲人朋友一个问候祝福。团圆之夜，明月高悬。因此，又称八月十五为“团圆节”。
古往今来，人们常用“月圆”、“月缺”来形容“悲欢离合”。客居他乡的游子，更是以月寄托深情。唐代诗人李白的“举头望明月，低头思故乡”，杜甫的“露从夜今白，月是故乡明”，宋代诗人王安石的“春风有绿江南岸，明月何时照我还”等诗句，都是千古绝唱。
现在中秋节这一天，全国人民还可以享受一天的假期，合家团圆呢！

I dream of being a doctor.
My mother is a doctor. She always has to work extra hours and comes home late and tired. She has to go to the hospital immediately any time she is needed, no matter how late it is at night. When I was very little and still in primary school, I once asked her why she chose such a boring and hard job. She answered with a smile, “Yes I am sometimes very tired but seeing my patients getting better and better makes me happy from the bottom of my heart.”
As I grow up, I gradually come to understand her words and realize doctors are noble. I made up my mind to be a doctor when I was in junior school and this has never changed since then.
I really hope to see a world where there is no cancer, no Aids, no fatal disease, no one suffering from illness. But this is only a fantasy. What about the reality? There are still many many people who are faced with disastrous disease and suffering from constant pain. There are still many many people living in miserable condition and live miserably. There are still many many people dying of cancer and leaving the beautiful world reluctantly. All those things make me feel sad because I think everyone has the right to live . I want to help the sick and reduce their pain as much as I can. I want to bring a healthy body to the patients and save their lives as many as I can. I want to see people cured ,living happily with their families and friends after my treatment. So I want to be a doctor ,an angel in white.
When I become a doctor, I will cherish each life regardless of the races, sexes, ages, positions and occupations. I will do every bit to cure the incurable.
I already have a dream in my heart,so I have to make every effort to realize it.As a high school student now,I will seize every chance to study hard,arm myself with knowledge, prepare myself for the future and strive for my dreams. I will be determined, face the reality bravely and not surrender to any problems I meet.
Is’s like Gothe says,“The important thing in life is to have a great aim and be determined to attain it.”Being a doctor is my dream. I think it is simple but meanful.

I' m happy to make a speech here. Thank you for your coming. Now, the topic for my speech today is “Western Festivals.” I would like to talk about Christmas.
Christmas is originally a Christian festival, as you can see from the formation of this word, “Christ-mas.” The first part of the word refers to Jesus Christ, and the second part “mas” comes from the word “mass,” referring to a main religious ceremony in some Christian churches. At first, it was celebrated for the birth of Jesus Christ. Nowadays, although some churches still observe this festival for its religious reason, for most people, including Chinese people, Christmas has already become a day of secular celebrations, when people exchange greetings and gifts. However, it is still a biggest festival in the West. It is as important to the Westerners as the Spring Festival is to the Chinese people.
Christmas day is on the 25th of December, and Christmas Eve is of course the evening of the previous day, the 24th December.
Christmas holiday usually lasts for two weeks, during which most schools have a Christmas break. Many families put the Christmas tree in their house, and hang many decorations on the tree. Under the tree, they usually place many Christmas presents. Giving out presents and receiving presents are what kids like best about this festival.
On Christmas Eve, kids would put stockings at the end of their bed, wishing the Santa Claus would come and give them presents.
As to the tradition of giving and receiving presents in Christmas, I think it has something to do with the nativity story. In the nativity story, on the birthday of baby Jesus, there was a bright star shining in the East. There were three kings in the East who saw the star, and they followed the star all the way to Bethlehem where the star stopped. They came to a manger where baby Jesus was lying. They worshiped the little baby and gave him presents. I think this is a beautiful story. It shows a spirit of sharing and love.
I like Christmas for the presents kids will receive and for its lovely story.

Good morning everyone，it's my pleasure to be here and talk about dreams and ambitions with you. When I was a primary school student I wrote in my composition that I want to be a scientist when I grow up. At that age I didn't know what is a scientist，nor did I know what is dream. I wrote it because it's a standard answer for a composition test. And I know if I wrote that I want to be a peasant I would be criticized and laughed at，no matter what reason I gave it. But now in university，one of my classmates changed my idea. At the career planning class when asked about our dreams，one of my classmates stood up and said，" I want to be a peasant because I grow up in a peasant family and I love it." No laughter，no criticism，he was the only who winned a clapping.
It sets me thinking，which should be a man's dream？a scientist，or a peasant？It's not a simple question and my answer is both. This is exactly my understanding of this topic. Dreams are something we really want and are willing to try every effort to achieve，no matter how great or how small，no matter how others think，it depends on you.
Life is long，and we are just on the starting point. Finally we'll understand life is not just about making a living. There're something much more important than money and material enjoyment，that is spiritual wealth，that is dream. So we thought it would bebetter if we could classify rubbish . we told our idea to our teacher and hesupported us very much . We became volunteers to classify rubbish . Firstly wegot three big boxes and put them in a corner of our classroom . One is for wastepaper，one for plastics and Coke cans and the other is for batteries . WithTeachers help，soon all the students took part in the activity of classifyingrubbish .In a month，we collected three boxes of paper，a box of batteries anda box of plastics and Coke cans .We sold them for 28 yuan and bought some youngtrees with the money . We planted the trees around our school . We were allspoken highly of by our school principals. Now we keep on the job and are allproud of improving environment .
